Hello everyone!
My question is, should I choose a lower specs CPU, GPU and Motherboard like the i5 6500, MSI GTX 1050Ti OC 4GB and MSI ZI70M MORTAR for the present time (Jan 2017) and upgrade later or;
is it better to choose a higher end CPU+GPU+Motherboard like the I5 6600K+Galax GTX 1060+MSI Z170 SLI PLUS?
What is a good strategy to buy/upgrade your main gaming pc components (CPU, GPU and Motherboard) to continue to game into the future? Should you prioritize buying Mobo+GPU, Mobo+CPU or another combo?
Also what can I do with older components that were replaced with newer ones? The games I usually play are of lower specs (LOL, Paladins, Warface/ on my laptop), but am looking to play high-spec, "triple-A" titles in the near future and beyond on a gaming desktop.
I am admittedly a newbie to the gaming pc tech world and was hoping for some helpful advice on these matters. Would appreciate any advice/suggestions!

I'd go for a 6600K and the 1060 combo, purely because that's faster, but if you wait until the AMD comes out with their new CPUs and VGAs, you might be able to save a bit of money, but that's still a few months. So if you want to buy something now, go for the the 6600K, and the 1050Ti that you can upgrade later for something faster, and you'll be able to overclock the CPU to keep up with it.

Thank you for your response! I was thinking the same thing- to use i5 6600K at 3.5 GHz stock frequency and then later overclock in the BIOS for more speed. This helps a bunch! Thanks bro!
