So i recently upgraded my computers motherboard, RAM (DDR3 to DDR4), CPU (And cooler). Everything worked out fine installing but one of the two RAM's i got was defect. So im only playing with Single-channel 4GB DDR4 @ 2400mhz and i should be playing with 8GB.

My problem right now is that im playing some games at sick graphics and i have sick FPS along with it but quite frequently the game stutters. Now i think this is because my usage of RAM is very high because i only have 4GB. If i get that other 4GB so i have 2x4GB fix my problem? Thanks in advance! :)

If you're only playing with 4GB due to a ram defect in the second memory module of your 2x4GB kit then i guess you should return the RAM and purchase a new kit. Also tell the guys at the store what happened.

Also, what games are you playing? Do they require a minimum or recommended of 4GB of RAM? Is your CPU cooler adequate and is it cooling properly and are the temps good? I still think you should play with minimum of 8GB of RAM.
