Whats up guys, I have a bit of a problem with my build. I put together my PC about 2 years ago and have been slowly upgrading over time. However, I have recently been having problems with it, usually under load or while I'm using Chrome, it freezes up and my headphones belt out a screeching noise and I cant get anything open. The only way I've been able to restart is switching off power from the power source, waiting about a minute, and switching back on. I've tried every system test, and checked over all parts including re-seating the ram, re-seating the CPU and GPU, checking both the SSD and HDD for loose connections and the power supply connections. Please help!

Parts:
CPU: 6600K (not OCed)
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 SeaHawk (OCed to 1975mhz)
RAM: Avexir Core Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4
PSU: EVGA 750W SuperNova
OS: Windows 10 Education
SSD: Intel 530 Series 120GB (OS Boot Drive)
HDD: HGST Deskstar 2TB 7200RPM
Case: NZXT H440 Hyper Beast

Solution
Turns out it was the Mobo, I swapped in an ASUS board from work and not only have I not had any problems, my computer is running much better, no artifacts on screen, no CPU spiking and best of all no random crashing and screeching from my headset. Thank you for the help everyone!

So far I've tried underclocking the GPU back to it's original settings, taking out the CMOS battery and replacing it, and running the PC without the SeaHawk , so far no differences. However, I have found that my motherboard is not reading my RAM correctly, it will display 12 GB in the BIOS, but I tried my RAM in my co-workers build and he had no problems using it for about 10 days. So it could be the motherboard, or maybe I need to reflash the BIOS? I had a feeling it wasn't the 1070 as I still had this problem (not as often though) when I had a EVGA 960 SSC as a temp card.
