My current Specs:
Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.40GHz
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 934MHz
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z87-K (SOCKET 1150)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 260 (MSI)
ATX-AP800W Power Supply 800

I am looking to buy:
MSI GAMING Radeon RX 480 GDDR5 4GB
Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3
MasterCase Pro 5 Mid-Tower Case

My current GPU is not doing to well, it has been over heating and while playing games it would do some weird stuff like rendering things a different color and other stuff. If I buy the RX 480 should I keep the old GPU for my second monitor or just get rid of it?
Is that a good case for what I got?
Is the GPU and CPU a good combo?

Solution
A geforce 1060 would be better than the 480 at your budget. I have heard lots of people talk about their RX 480 overheating at idle use, and NVIDEA always add features to games that Radeon wouldn't add.

Doing crossfire is a big risk. Lots of games don't support it. If you are to crossfire, look at the list of games that support it and if a game you regularly play isn't on it, don't bother with crossfire
