How great is the i7 3770K?

I've had this in my computer ever since I've got it, never been over clocked or anything (Mainly because not sure how to achieve that) However I know it's quite a few years old and I'm curious if it has any life left in it or is it time to find an upgrade for this modern world?

Its older but still a decent cpu.

yes, lots of life still.

if your PC feels sluggish consider adding more RAM and upgrading to an SSD for your boot drive

16gb of Ram installed since built and I recently upgraded to a 240gb SSD for my boot drive, over the 60gb drive I had when I first had the PC, with a higher HDD coming later down the line to add onto the already 1TB HDD I got installed. I'm upgrading the GPU on it at the end of this month to a GTX 1060 or RX 480 so was curious if my CPU can still hold up.

3770k will be just fine with a 1060 or a 480.
