I have the Logitech G633 headphones wich are USB connected, when I plug in the USB cord it only turns on the headphones lights and activates the mic, no audio.

If i want any audio i have to connect a Audio-port wich is very annoying cause the Audio-port cord is very short, any ideas?

Solution
You say you have the option of using a 3.5mm or a USB connection for the sound on that headset and that it works that way?
Try the USB connection on another computer then and see what happens there

Okay, Have you tried plugging them into different USB ports?

Okay, Have you checked if your headset is set to 'PC' and not to '3.5mm'? Also, please make sure that your headset is set as the default playback device in the Sound Properties on your computer.

Try setting them to 3.5mm. They might be dodgy, I know my headphones are, When mine are set to "Mute" people can hear me when its set to "Un-Mute" people can't hear me. Maybe their doing some reverse psychology s***.
