I just installed a new Power Supply because my old one was fried (at least that's what I thought) so after putting the new power supply in my desktop still doesn't turn on. The USB ports still work, I have a RGB mouse and keyboard and they both light up even though the computer isn't on. Could it be the motherboard? The motherboard that I have is the (Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2V microATX Motherboard - LGA1156 Socket). The Power Supply I just installed is the CORSAIR CXM series CX650M 650W 80 PLUS BRONZE Haswell Ready ATX12V & EPS12V Modular Power Supply if that helps at all

Turn monitor off 30 seconds turn off computer turn on monitor 30 seconds and only then turn on computer each and every time you change devices. Try ctrl and the F key f3 or f4 or whichever it is that shows to switch to external.monitor on keyboard.
If your computer screen resolution changed.some monitors can't display higher or lower settings than others so have to try all screen resolutions of computer to find the only one sometimes. Usually get an error çode "out of range" must turn off monitor 30 Seconds then turn it on and boot computer last everytime you change devices.

So computer was running perfectly fine with 1 monitor than boom 2nd monitor fried the ever living crap out of your psu i hope not sounds like wiring in the monitor and fried it if it didn't run to begin see if its getting power at all should be an led light that lights of green or flashes red or something its different on other motherboards and could mean something bad or good check what the color means if its not lit at all then power isn't going through the PSU or some how in some crazy incident you broke your motherboard in that case remind me never to buy your motherboard lol

Since you said that usb ports still work that means the motherboard is working there try reset switch on mobo heres tutorial
