Hi Everyone,

I recently built my first gaming rig, everything went smoothly (although it was a lengthy process) and it booted to bios first time, I installed windows onto my SSD (It was the only boot drive available) and i'm in the main screen and all my drivers need to be updated.

Since I have no optical drive I went ahead to my motherboard manufacturers website (ASrock) and downloaded the chipset driver, LAN driver, usb 3.0 driver and audio driver. I was going to install them in this order: chipset, LAN, usb & audio.

I installed the chipset driver successfully, restarted when prompted and now it was time to install the LAN driver but when I open the Autorun application I get an error saying "Missing Oemver.reg"?!

I can't install the LAN driver that is the error message that pops up everytime, please help me!

Here is the motherboard website that I downloaded drivers from: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170A-X13.1/?cat=Download&os=Win8a64

@cin19 Thank you! For some reason the MOST RECENT Lan Driver for Windows 10 64 bit from ASrocks website for my motherboard (H170A-X1/3.1) does not want to work.

I did what you suggested and followed your link to the intel website (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/82186/Intel-Et...) and set the search parameters for my operating system and bit and downloaded the latest "Intel Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10" and copied to USB and it worked perfectly when installing on my rig, I now have ethernet capabilities and I get my usual download/ upload speed!

I suggest anyone else with this issue on a ASrock motherboard to try this solution.
