I've been struggling witht this for about 3 hours now, I've tried everything I found.

Changed flash drive from my USB 3.0 to 2.0 and nothing. Also tried using a 2.0 thumb drive and nothing again.

I read that the copy of windows could be currupted, so a new got one from microsoft and still nothing.

Saw videos of people installing intel drivers, unfortunately the video had no explanation on what drivers and how to install them, it simply jumped to the install part.

Another video talked about mass media drivers, just like the previous video made no sense.

I read about switching the USB adpater settings to SATA or something on my BIOS, but I cannot find that option on my Motherboards BIOS, its an Asus Z170-E

I have an SSD and a HardDrive connected. For What I read it seems people are still unsure what causes the problem seeing how it can it can appear with anything. I'm new to this so I don't kno how normal is this.

I was planning to simply buy windows 10, but since my PC doesnt have an Optical drive im going to have to install it via USB once again and I'm scared that it'll happen again and just plain out my PC is blocked from a OS.

You can try this heck:
download w10 from microsoft and boot it from an USB. Start the instalation and when it asks you for the activation key, just type in the one that came with your w7.
This worked for me about 3 weeks ago...hope they haven't noticed this yet :D
Good luck
