i just wrote a 1000 word story about how this came about and toms hardware just reloaded itself for some reason!!!! ::( let me try again. so i have a problem my pc says windows is not genuine . or windows 7 build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine. this all started when i got a virus called mail.ru so i did what anyone else did , started to remove it , so i removed all files attached or associated with the virus. one of these was rundll32.exe for some reason . so i deleted it . now ive deleted the virus YEY !. now is where problems start to show . it first shows when i try to enter my volume control and it says something like unable to find: rundll32.exe was not found so i was obviously like "oh no what have i deleted " so i searched online and found a way to reinstall it , i went in cmd promt and typed something along the lines of sfc /scannow and it said it restored some system files and asked me to restart m pc for things to take affect so i obliged. pc restarts and i put in my password... BOOM says windows is not genuine . i read abit online and it apparently can be caused if an important system file is: moved, deleted or tampered with so i was thinking to myself" <removed by mod>i have no hope, the only way i can get it to go away is by reinstalling windows and deleting my 800gb worth of games" :( as i have not resotre point on my pc) but then another issue came about , i cant access my internet idk how it just says identifying and it only says that. so... im out of ideas, pls toms hardware ppl , pls help D: im writing this on my terrible laptop

With that config a reinstall will not remove the games on the hdd. To make sure either disable or unplugg the hdd when doing the reinstall. Just make sure any data on the ssd is backed up beforehand. After you get the os reinstalled and driver and security software installed and updated re-enable or plug the hdd back in and run a full virus and malware scan.
