I launched prime95 and ran the preselected test. During the first phase of the test there were no issues (temperature on all cores was around 60C), however, after a few minutes when it began executing different workloads (or whatever prime95 does) the cpu usage started fluctuating between 25 and 100% (frequency was changing). The temperature reached around 70C so the cpu shouldn't be throttling. I then ran aida64 for 10 minutes and there were no such spikes in usage with temp being around 70C at worst. Does anyone have an idea why the dips occured in prime95?

Multiplier drops and goes back up again (cpuz didn't refresh the clock speed on the screenshot because I took it too fast). I stopped the test when it started doing that, but there were no errors reported by prime.

It is either VRM overheating, CPU reaching max motherboard TDP or prime95 not working properly.
