Guys,
I am from India and today looking for 3d rendering beast to be fast enough for render in minutes..
I am thinking for minimum 128GB RAM ECC and two graphic card of 4 gb and 4gb..it should be very fast ..But yaa it should support 3d renderings, after effects and more 3d related software, VR, Octane and others.
Graphic card should have CUDA.
So suggest plsssss....

I had a debate with a guy who run hardware office for 28 yrs suggesting for i7 and I am with Xeon.. and good graphics...
Regards
Aditya

I'm not an expert on the specific requirements of the software you're using in regards to what hardware is needed to most efficiently run it, I will however refer you to ask @RogueLeader and @logainofhades as they're more knowledgeable in this area. :)
I would suspect however that you'll want quadro card along with either a dual Xeon or x99 CPU.

I totally forgot quadro existed. Here's Some quadro cards:

First off we've got a decent card, It's a quadro k620 it's a good price for what you get, it's 138.99 pounds on the NVIDIA store. but this isn't what you really want, It's only 2 GB of VRAM. It has DVI-I and DisplayPort and I just want to say that if you don't have a DisplayPort Monitor then you might be in a pickle with later cards.

Now for something you'll most likely want more, It's a quadro K1200. It has 4 GB of VRAM and isn't too expensive

Now for the M4000, You said you wanted two 4 GB graphic cards right? Well this about as powerful as 2 quadro K1200 with 8 GB of VRAM . But it's not cheap, It's 799.99 pounds.

Now this one I highly DON'T recommend, It's the M6000, Nvidia's most expensive graphic card. it's 5x the money of a Geforce Titan X! So why is on this list? or why is that price? It's on the list if you wanna go all out, I don't recommend it though. And it's that price because it has 24 GB OF VRAM!

That's my list. Now that not all the Quadro's, Just the ones you would normally want.

.

guys, thanks for your response but I need full configuration which can run softwares like
3Ds max, Adobe, fusion, cinema 4d, zbrush, vray, octane, fstorm etc
As renders take time to render so i need high configuration machine.
to make renders fast...

Go for 64 GB of RAM. 128 GB is too much. Kingston is the best RAM company. of what I've herd. I also herd that ADATA is good too. Also, State your motherboard so I can see what memory type you have.

Depending on the application, one (or two) 1080 GTX cards may beat out the Quadro M6000 at 25% of the cost, but without more info I threw in the M6000 for fun.

If you want ECC RAM then you need to go with a Xeon.

This is not true.

I have a haswell i7 at work that runs 24/7 and reboots at most once per month for security patches.

I have an i7-920 at home that runs 24/7.

I have an i5-6500 at home that also runs 24/7.

More cores and still 3.0ghz+. This is a crazy amount of money so you really need to think whether it's justified to spend so much.

I would also make sure your specific applications will make use of the Quadro M6000. It would be much cheaper going with a 1080 gtx or even a Titan (or two) than using that video card. You would save a ton of money by switching to a Broadwell-E setup with non-ECC ram and 1080gtx for video.
