My MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB show up under display adapter as "Standard VGA graphics adapter" and my computer won't allow me to install my nvidia's drivers...
When running Windows with this "VGA" (GTX 970) it's fans don't spinning , running ....And GPU is heating up

Do you have 6-pin power connectors plugged in to your GPU?

Are you able to select the GTX 970 in your BIOS as your video source? The GPU might not be recognized at all, and you might be using onboard motherboard graphics.

How can I reduce the core and the memory frequency of this card if I do not have access to MSI Afteburner? In safe mode this app and GPU-Z, Nvidia Inspector, EVGA Precision and other does not work
