My pc was unable to boot, it started for 3 seconds then turned off.(those fans) so i thought of giving a try to clean and rejoin the wires because it worked before. I even cleaned the thermal paste and applied new one as the a lot of dust was reached a bit up there too. then i started my pc back. Now it starts for like not even a second and turns off. i tried removing and joining all wires and cpu again. same happens. Way worried because i have replaced my mobo and psu just last year. Anything i can do here? i am way afraid that might be my mobo's cpu part is gone forever as from what i searched from internet. Is that true? If its true, then what might fix it. really ignoring a new replace here.
Well, is upgrading to i5-2400 worth it ?

Core i3-3210
Kingston hyperx fury 8gb 1866Mhz Ram
Saphhire dual x Radeon r7 265
Gigabyte h61 m s (something like that)
Antec vp 500pc Psu

First try clearing the CMOS. The way to do this is to pop the silver circular battery on the mobo. Leave it out for about a minute. Then try reinserting it and try turning on your PC again.
Also, I would advise disconnecting all unnecessary components that do not need to operate from the motherboard. So just have your RAM, CPU, Mobo and PSU connected, your CPU has integrated graphics so try running off of that.
Also try watching your motherboard when you turn it on. If something is wrong it may flash some lights to indicate where something is going wrong (some motherboards can tell you if it doesn't detect/sees a failed CPU or graphics card etc.).

Please report back once you've tried these.

Okay, but there is still a deeper underlying problem, even if you did get the PC to turn on for 3 seconds.
Please try my suggestions and then let me know what happens.

No you wouldn't get power to the motherboard or the CPU fan.

then wtf let me explain

so my friend gave me his old pc, It had many problem anytime i would launch a game it would crash and i knew it was the cpu coolers fault so the next day i bought a new one and i got the computer working but i noticed it got really hot over like 100 degrees Celsius i got worried so i turned the system off until the next day, the next day i removed the cpu cooler and put it back, the problem was that the cooler and the cpu did not make contact. But when i put the pc back on all the fans spin but nothing on the monitor at this point i am fearing the worst that the motherboard is damaged the Memok this i a solid red color and when i hold it for a while the system just turns off and goes on again but no display i changed the PSU and the RAM but it can't be the ram cause it worked for me before and it worked for my other friend who is helping me fix this problem.

Pc specs:
CPU: i5 3570K
GPU: Gtx 560
MOBO: asus p8z77-v
PSU: 700 w / old 500 w

Thanks in advance

Okay, but I don't know what more to tell you. You're not letting me help you.
The only way to fix this problem is to find what component is actually going wrong in this system. Hence my suggestion to only start the PC with the necessary components needed to power the system.

If you're not going to try my suggestions then I hope someone else in the community can help you as I don't know what more I can do for you.
