Hello guys. I just got a new CPU fan for my 8370. before I had 30°C or so on idle. Now with my new Gammax 300, when Im not browsing the web or so my Core temperature drops to 10-15°C!!
Isnt that really BAD for the CPU?
things are never working as intended... first its too hot and now too cold haha.
Im at 35°C when playing with MAX performance.
Im using HWMonitor, Coretemp, MSIfterburner and AMD Overdrive, all show the same temps between 10-20°C (mostly 14°C)
My Room temperature is ~20-25°C (I live in Germany and its winter)

...help?

Solution
It's just an inaccurate sensor reading, it's not actually below ambient temperature.

But even if it was, the CPU wouldn't care. It would take deep cryogenic cooling for any issues to occur.

There might be something wrong with the sensors. 10-15 degrees seems odd if your room is 20-25. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think it should be dropping below room.

If it is true and the sensors are working correctly, don't worry. 10-15 degrees is fine for a CPU. Pretty sure it can handle way colder since they do liquid nitrogen on some overclocks.

maybe you as a "graphics card master" can give me a little aid.
when I play "Overwatch" I get 150 fps on maximum settings, but my CPU fan has to work alot and is pretty loud.
When I play "Dying Light" I get alot less fps, only ~60-70 and yet my CPU fan is really quiet, almost as if I didnt play a game. is there any explanation to this? only one I can think of is "dying light" has not alot of CPU usage but then my FPS make no sense because I have a gtx 1070... should get alot more..
sorry to bother you, you dont need to help me if you have no idea.

Yes. Dying Light is more demanding on the graphics card. That means the framerate drops, which means the CPU doesn't have to work very hard. Overwatch is less demanding on the graphics card, so you get a very high framerate that's more limited by the CPU - which will be running at more or less full load.

but that makes no sense... it has to be the other way around because my Graphics card is really strong whilst my CPU is not the BEST. so if dying light is more GPU demanding shouldnt I get MORE fps??
GPU: 1070
CPU: 8370FX

Not necessarily. Imagine your CPU is capable of 150 FPS in either game, and your GPU is capable of 200 FPS in Overwatch but only 70 FPS in Dying Light.

Then you'll be limited by the CPU in Overwatch, but limited by the GPU in Dying Light.

but my friend has a 970 (worse than gtx 1070 obviously) and he gets more FPS in that game.
he has an i7 though,
