Hello~

I have recently decided to upgrade my laptop's RAM memory because it's been really slow lately. I bought a Kingston memory, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 SODIMM and after installing it, my laptop doesn't boot. I press the power button and nothing happens T^T Does anyone know why? Is the memory I bought not compatible with my laptop?

Thank you

Solution
yeah, the one you had first said pc3L, which is DDR3L, the new stuff is just pc3 / DDR3 no L... that's why its not working. Return it, and get a stick of DDR3L and you should be good to go.

Yes, it was placed correctly...

If I switch back to the old memory, the laptop works just fine.

Toshiba Satellite C50-A-1JV, you can find more info here, on Toshiba's page.

It has only one RAM slot.

Thank you for trying to help me~
