HI. So I recently upgraded my Asus Radeon HD 6670 to a Asus gtx 760. I've always used my 6670 on my 1440x900 monitor connected via a vga cable. Since their was never any vga output on that gpu I used a dvi to vga adapter and it worked just fine. Now I've fitted and installed my gpu with the lastest drivers and I've got the vga plugged in through the dvi adapter. And when I go to screen resolution my 1440x900 isn't there. I go to the nvidia settings and create a custom res of 1440x900 but it looks really blurry and wrong. Whatever I do I can't get it to look right through anyway. My monitor is 1440x900 and my gpu is Asus GeForce gtx 760. Thanks

Okay guys I've found the answer myself and thought I'd better post it in case anyone in the future needs it.

I went into the nvidia control panel once again and made a custom resolution. I changed the timeline to match the amount of pixels on my screen and it worked! I changed it to GTF aswell
