msi gtx 1060. where is the warranty?

i just got msi gtx 1060 gaming x but i dont know if it came with a warranty or not
i dont even know what the warranty actually is
so is it a thing at the box or a card out the box or what :V

Every new electronic product will have some form of warranty, the minimum the applies legally in your jurisdiction, generally.

I see the Canadian site, where a 36 month warranty applies to all GPUs and can be traced by the serial number:
https://ca.msi.com/page/warranty

Some manufacturer's 'require' you to register for extended warranties, usually beyond 12 months (but those are not enforceable in all jurisdictions), it doesn't appear MSI do.
