Does using the SATA cable from my CD/DVD reader for my SSD cause any problems?

Sorry for asking such a pointless question but I can't find the answer anywhere and I'm getting some blue screens and other crashes and I'm just guessing the issue at this point so I might as well ask.

Solution
No, each SATA cable can be used for any boot drive (Optical, HDD, SSD)... Blue Screens are mostly related to driver issues specially on new/recent installations. The Blue Screen should display the error code that can be googled for the actual cause. If the Blue Screen is to quick to take note of the error code, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > System and Recovery > Settings > Under System Failure, uncheck Automatically Restart. This will pause the next Blue Screen so you can read the Error code and write it down on paper to google it.
