Everything in my computer works except the case fans. I used the molex adapter that goes from molex to 4-pin in order to plug into my mobo but they won't spin. I can't directly connect the fans to my mobo because it only has a 4-pin sysfan plug in and not a 3-pin.

You can plug your 3-pin fans easily into MoBo's 4-pin connector while leaving the 4th pin free without no harm.
Here's how it looks:
The reason why your fans won't turn when using the molex adapter is because molex adapter connects only the ground wire (black) and power wire (red). For 3-pin fan to work, a PWM wire (yellow) must be connected to the MoBo as well.
