What is my motherboard name for OptiPlex 780? (USFF) i want to know the socket of the cpu so i can upgrade it. If you can give me the socket it would be much better then the name of the motherboard but. I would greatlyy appreciate all the answers from this wonderful community!

I don't know why that's funny. The E8400 was one of the best CPUs ever made. With a good motherboard and cooling you could get over a gigahertz overclock out of it. I ran an E8400 at 4Ghz for close to 3 years. And 2009 wasn't exactly the dark ages.

That system is terribly outdated today. You should start over. A little i3 6100, motherboard and 16GB of DDr4 can be had for around $250. Those parts would run circles around any Core2 chip, even the Quads.
