I'm getting 50-60 fps on league of legends on high settings. I'm not sure why its so low, and if its correct?

Maybe try downloading CPU-Z and GPU-Z and monitor how much of your GPU and CPU the game is using, there's never a "magic fix" to these problems, it's all just trial and error. If you turn down your graphical settings and don't get an FPS boost, then the CPU is probably being maxed out. Are you sure that VSync is off in game and in your Nvidia control panel?
