I'm pretty new to building computers and don't really understand drivers that well. I recently build a budget gaming PC but don't know what drivers I need. Also, if someone could link and article or video to explain drivers to me that would be fantastic. Thank you so much for your help. :)

I like to think of drivers as 'instructions' they tell the computer how something is supposed to work. I'm assuming you've already installed Windows. For your video card drivers, download GeForce experience, install it, then run it. Once it's running, it'll give you an option to download and update your video card drivers. Most hardware that needs drivers will come with an installation CD/DVD. However, it is usually a better practice to download and install drivers from the manufacturers websites as they will most likely be more up to date than whatever came in the box.

All you really need nowadays is the graphics driver IN MY OPINION. Some may say that you need motherboard drivers but I believe in the 'if it's not broken then don't try to fix it' saying and I'm presuming your system works. Graphics drivers are a bit different as AMD and NVidia are constantly making new ones that utilize the exact GPU's strengths in games. A good example of this would be AMD where at first their GPUs couldn't handle GTA 5 when it released but later on they found the best ways to utilize the calculations their card is good at.
