So I ordered a RX 480 and its heading its way. I was wondering in the near future if I should get another RX 480 to play some games in 4k with my monitor. Once I get the first RX 480 I was planning just to play my games in 1440p but worried that I can't play all my games on ultra in 1440p.

My build:

i7 6700k
Corsair H100iV2 water cooler
Corsair vegenence 32gb ram
asus maximus viii hero motherboard
850 watt corsair power supply
Samsung 480 SSD
2 TB HDD Seagate

Monitor is

LG 27UD58-B 27in Ultra HD 4K IPS FreeSync Gaming Monitor

Solution
A single RX 480 isn't gonna be powerful enough to keep 60fps in modern titles in 4k at much higher than medium settings and no AA, a 2nd would certainly help your situation and might offer a great FreeSync experience. However, I'd highly suggest waiting to see how Vega performs before buying a second card
