I had an old pc with windows on the HDD and i didnt have the money after buying all new parts to build my first pc. I decided to add my old 1TB hard drive in with my new 2TB hard drive sense it has windows on it. When i turn on the pc it loads bios fine but i cant seem to figure out how to load into windows. What am i supposed to do now after building it? Ask any questions you need about what parts or whatever.

Well, actually it's MAYBE. If you had your old computer and W10 activated with Digital entitlement and same MS (hotmail) account, you could run Activation assistant and with some luck it would activate same way.
That's if W10 would run on that machine at all.
You cannot boot a new system with an old already Installed Windows, because it has different drivers. This is also how Microsoft controls you from running 1 paid OS on 2 machines.

How? Assuming the License is transferrable. You (1)Install from original install media (if you lost them oops), (2)Un-Register from old machine, (3)Activate on new machine.

Here is my deal. I had purchases a prebuild machine with windows 10 already installed. Now i built a new pc and am wanting to put my windows 10 onto this pc. Is this possible without the activation key or no?
