My motherboard is ASUS VIII Ranger and don't have a cpu yet. I want to get the new Kaby Lake i5 7600k but i would need to update the uefi before that. Are there any possible ways to update the uefi without a skylake cpu?
A snowball's chance in hell I'd say. UEFI resides on hard disk and it's placed there by OS installation. Even legacy BIOS needs computer to run to be able to update it.
