Hello guys! I'm buying a new computer for my mother as a birthday gift. She only does browsing, watches videos and works with Microsoft programs, she's a teacher and needs it for school work. I was thinking abou a GTX 750 or 750ti, but those might be overkill. Any good choice? I'm thinking about a cheap desktop below 800$.

The i5-6500 comes with a stock Intel CPU cooler. Only their overclockable 'k' CPUs require a 3rd party cooler. However, the Intel Kaby Lake replacement comes out in a few weeks. Unless this is an urgent purchase, or you find a sale on the i5-6500, why not hold out for it's replacement? It'll be called the i5-7500.

For everything you listed that your mom would be doing it is plenty fine. Nothing there will present a problem. Now if she got into gaming that is a different story all together.

No need for discrete graphics for just basic work/browsing like that.

The parts chemmajorp53 linked would work good and that has a i5 versus the i3. The CPU upgrade is your biggest concern for her to get stuff done.
