First of all there is the sample of the noise i am getting.
http://

I dont know where the problem lies, its a USB mic so no settings or drivers to work with.
Tried to record with fraps, audacity, shadowplay all to no avail.
Microphone itself is definitely not faulty as it works perfectly on PS4 (which is in the different room if it makes any change) and there is no noise while recording.

I tried to move mic around my room as far as cable allowed me too but didn't notice any difference, switching USB ports doesn't help as well.
I tried also plugging my PC directly to wall socket but no difference here either.

Any ideas what could be the problem? i am kinda desperate here

What mic are you using? If it has a 3.5mm jack in it then you need to plug your headphone/headset into the mic to hear recordings etc (I also had this problem when I bought my MXL Tempo). Make sure that the mic is also set as default for playback and recording in sound > playback devices/recording devices.

U misunderstood me here, sorry i wasn't clear enough probably.
Microphone is USB one, and i can record and playback perfectly, my issue is the there is that white/static noise in my recordings which brings the quality of my videos down. I know its something wrong with my PC setup as this noise does not show up when recording on PS4

ah yes i understand now. Try switching usb ports, or lowering your levels on your mic a little.

I have the same problem at the moment with my USB mic (Rode Podcaster). I think it's a driver issue or a sample rate issue but I haven't been able to track it down. It seems like I fixed it once before but I can't remember how!
