Finally gathered the money for a new PC with my aging one being left in the dust in recent years. All parts assembled and I go to boot for first time and recieve Q-code 00
Parts List:
I7-6700K CPU
Stock Cooler (Either Evo 212 or HTX100i)
Asus Maximus VIII Hero
Team Dark 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (TDGED416G2400HC14DC01)
GTX 670 FTW Edition
1TB WD BLACK SERIES
120GB KINGSTON SSDNOW
CORSAIR CX600M
PHANTEKS ENTHOO LUXE
I have been going crazy looking at threads and forum posts. Ive tried recommended RAM slots and mixing and matching the slots. Ive tried a boot outside of the case, just the 8-PIN and 24-PIN connected to the mobo. Ive tried the Bios driver installs. I have checked the motherboard pegs in the case, to make sure there isnt an extra peg shorting out the mobo. All still lead to Q-code "00". I'm just searching for an answer or a tips on what seems wrong. I like to think Im not being a complete nub and missing or forgetting something. All help is appreciated. Thank you ahead of time for just taking the time and maybe leaving some input.
