New cpu not working

Hello everyone, having a bit of a problem here. I decided I'm going to upgrade my cpu I don't know why, but I did. My MB is an asus b85m-e/ csm it had a i5 4430, but decided to upgrade to a i5 4690k. I made sure to look online if they are compatible and they are with a bios update. So I installed it, but get no display and the computer dose not beep when it starts. Then I re installed the old cpu and it works. Kind of bummed out.
So any tips?

I used a USB, I downloaded the update, reset the computer went in the BIOS went to tools and used the EZ flash and when it was done it said update successful.I have no idea what Bupdater.

Thanks for the idea and sorry for late ass reply. I used the bupdater and it took sometime to get it to work, but it finally worked. However when it was done it said to reset, but how do I reset, it dose not reset by it's self so I just turned the computer off turned it back on to reboot, everything was good. Then shut it down put the new cpu in and got the some results everything powers on, but no display and no beep.
