I will start off with my OS is Windows 10(64-bit), i5-4690K ,12 GB of RAM (an 8GB stick DDR3 and a 4 GB stick DDR3) a MSI Z97 GAMING 5 motherboard and a 250 GB SSD, currently have over half the space of it left over. I turn on my computer and right from start, over 80% of my memory is being used. I go into the task manager and see nothing too out of the ordinary being used, the 'Antimalware Service Executable' is near the top which I assume is the standard security for Windows 10, I have just this one Chrome tab open to type this and that is at the very top using 50.9 MB, it shows several other Chrome applications in my task manager though which I never understood as it was not a problem before. I click on the Task Manager to look at performance, It shows 9.2 GB in use (135 MB compressed), and 2.5 available. Committed 11.1/16.7 GB (not sure how that is possible since I have 12 not 16.7 GB of RAM) also has 565 MB cached. Paged pool at 251 MB and non-paged pool at 8.2 GB.... I hope that is enough information to at least get started in helping me figure this out. Please let me know if you can help or need any other details I will provide as much as I can, thank you in advance.
