Hey guys I'm building a PC for someone and just want to bounce around some ideas on a decent gaming computer within this price range. Most computers I've built have been around $1000-$1400 so I'm trying to find a parts list that gives me the most bang for my buck. Mostly want to go amd as well, just throw a list in here if you have the time ill look at it and get back to you thanks in advance for your help.

Would not recommend AMD platform right now. Perhaps Zen release will bring something interesting to the market.

Pros -
i5 , decent 1080p GPU, decent PSU.

Cons -
Multiple merchants.
Skylake gen platform, the new Kaby Lake will raise the budget 20-30$. (not a big performance gains tho).
RX 480 / GTX 1060 another 30-80$ depends on amount of memory.
2 x 4GB memory kit, leaves no room for future upgrade (motherboard has only 2 slots), there is an option to take a single 1x8gb stick and throw another one in the future.
No SSD.
