Hello, I just built a new rig yesterday and have been trying to over clock my 6600k. These are my specs:
core i5 6600k
asus z270 TUF mark 1 mobo
2 evga gtx 1070 sc SLI
16 gb ddr4 corsair vengence
I have been able to get a stable OC at 4.7 GHz (100 base clock, 47 X) at 1.4 V, but after going above 4.7 GHz I get BSOD when its logging in after I enter my password at idle. I have tried raising the voltage all the way to 1.47 V but I still get BSOD after trying to go to 4.8 GHz. The BSOD error I get is CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT.

I was wondering if there is anything I can do about this error, since the crash is only at idle. I feel like i could get up to 4.8GHz +
