Hello!

I'm going to buy the "i5 6700k" CPU and was wondering if the MB "MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON" is a good fit for the CPU? So that nothing of the CPU goes to waste.

Or i5-7600k / i7-7700k?

Any Z170 or Z270 board will be sufficient for the CPU. The 270 board brings a little more via the chipset and some boards will be able to OC better than others, but nothing of the CPU will go 'to waste' on a Z chipset
