Let's say I want to dual-boot w7 and w10. Why would I want to use VHD instead of normal partition? Can I install and play cs go on VHD ?

A VHD would be used in a Virtual Machine situation.
Very useful, in some situations. I do.

But probably not the way that you are thinking of dualbooting.
What is the specific reason behind your dualboot thought process?

I have w10 right now and I need w7 too for some programs. I have read guides on internet they said vhd bla bla bla... Now I want to shrink my hdd in another partition but there is something wrong. Look at the pic plz. It doesn't let me shrink more than 1000mb :( But I have 103 gb free on that HDD !!

Ah....
Now we are running into the limitation of 4 primary partitions on a drive that is MBR format.
You'd have to reformat that drive as GPT. This may involve a complete wipe, format, and reinstall.
There are functions to just 'change it', but I've never done it and would not trust it to keep all the existing data intact.

Secondary issue....
Installing Win 7 on a drive (different partition) that already has Win 10 on it may hose up the Win 10 boot info.

The way it should be done is install the older OS first, then the newer one.
Installing Win 7 on this physical drive may screw up the Win 10 boot manager.

How can I format that drive as GPT?

Lets explore ALL other options before we go down that road.

- Running the Win 7 as a VirtualMachine. If this is strictly for gaming, that is not a great option.
- What applications do you use that are having issues with Win 10, that would be solved with a native Win 7?
- A second drive to install that Win 7 on. Rather than sharing this single 500GB drive between 2 OS's and a 300GB data partition.

Actually nevermind I just decided to install w7 on my current drive and later on I will install another HDD and reinstall w10 on it just because I like new features&updates and the UI.
