i ordered an hyper evo 212 and ive been messing around with overclocking it. i got it too 4375mhz but if i go over that it straight up just wont start, i haven't touched any voltages or anything just the frequency. i am using the ASrock Uefi bios as well

Solution
you need to raise voltages and load line current to ensure voltage does not drop too much on heavy loads. I suggest upping voltage to 1.4v with the hyper 212 not the stock cooler. 1.4 is a fairly safe voltage ive been running 1.44-1.42 for 3 years with no issues or degradation. probrably should raise cpu power limit to 130 too. Look up some guides and make sure your core/package temp does not exceed 60c and mobo 70c when running prime 95.

what do you think the appropriate voltage would be for 4.5 ghz ? cause my game is crashing even at 1.4125 , tempts are not exceeding 50 either but i keep it very cold in my room

Voltage is not everything, you can get a stable overclock with lower voltage by using the right settings. I suggest raising load line current to the second highest setting, increasing cpu power limit to 130%, putting cpu power response time to ultra fast etc. THere are more settings. But id say 1.42v should do 4.5ghz with the right mobo settings. mine does 4.5@ 1.38v
