Need help to pick 800+ PSU

Hey there

I am looking for reliable PSU with 800+ Gold. My current build has Thermaltake Smart M 850W Bronze and I have occasional random PC restarts. I read on Newegg reviews that many other users had random restarts while using this PSU, so I told myself- I will not buy another Thermaltake PSU. What is the well known reliable PSU? Thank you.

Solution
One of the links you have posted is not functioning.
Anyways, the Supernova range are pretty good. Ideally if its cheaper, i can pick that anyday. Having said that, anything from the Tier 1 list should be good enough.

thank you for your reply.

I need 850 watts and above. I am thinking to get EVGA SuperNOVA 850 T2 220-T2-0850-X1 80+ TITANIUM 850W http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007657 8000 600014104 600014107 600479297 601115166 600112163 50001402&IsNodeId=1

Or should I get Platinum? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438056&ignorebbr=1

It is about $45 difference. I don't want to spend extra money if I don't need to, but I can not deal with random restarts. I have perfectly functional Ivy Bridge system that I am going to donate to the friend because it has little annoying issues that I can not fix. I am building Kaby Lake that supposed to be audio production workstation. I will have one dedicated graphic card and 7 storage drives.

What would you recommend- Titanium or Platinum? EVGA? Thank you.

The difference was between Platinum and Titanium in $45. Is it worth to go Titanium? I mean- what can be so much different inside? It may be a little better but not 25% better. The increase in price is 25%. But then again- I don't even know how they can make the same power supply Good or less good. So they tested Titanium and said, 'ok, it is 94% effective." then they tested platinum, and say, "Ok, this one is not that great as the other one. lets call it Platinum?

The difference is basically in the parts. Some variants are compiled with cheap chinese capacitors and poor mosfet design and hsf which has a higher rate of failure than good quality parts. The quality has a lot do with efficiency and less with pricetag.
As I mentioned earlier, the supernova units are pretty good as they are based on the seasonic platform. You can go for it if its cheaper.
