I haven't built it yet , but here are my PC specs :

Intel Core i7 6700 3.4GHz
ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 8GB
16GB DDR4 RAM
700W PSU
ASUS H170 PRO MOTHETBOARD
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

I have lots of PC games in my collection....so I wanted to go for the PC again.

But just to know ....is the PS4 PRO better than the PC for the future?
I like both.....so please tell me is going with the PC a good idea?

Solid specs, should do you good for a few years. Well no the PS4 Pro is not better at all, even though it seems to boast 1080p 60fps I haven't heard many games hit that mark consistently. Much better to just stick with pc. Especially since pc games are always much cheaper, highly moddable and if they have any problems there's usually big communities which will help out far more than the devs would, I mean you can't really do much if a console game is acting up compared to how much you can do for a pc game. Going with pc is a no brainer really. Only reason to get a PS4 is for exclusives like Uncharted or God of War. There's a few cool PSVR games too but for how much that costs ontop of a ps4 it's not worth it. I'd say get a PS4 if you...

I'd say get a PS4 if you want to play from the comfort of your couch but these days you can just get a Steam Link and play from your couch on PC. You can even get PS Now on your pc so you can play a lot of playstation games on pc anyway. Up to you really.

Well your proposed PC specs are better than the PS4 Pro, for one that PC is actually capable of running games at native 4K at 30FPS, none of this upscaling or checkerboarding crap that the PS4 Pro has to do to achieve that resolution. 1080p or 1440p at 60FPS on every game is also doable with the PC, unlike the PS4 where lots of games are still capped to 30FPS even on the Pro due to CPU limitations preventing the games from achieving a consistent 60FPS.

I'd say stick with PC and retain your existing library. The only reason to get a PS4 Pro is if you really want a game that is exclusive to that platform to the point you're willing to accept worse performance in every other game, or if all your friends only play on PS4.
