Does this MSI motherboard work with this processor?

Do you have any recommendations for an AMD processor that would be compatible, which would be used for gaming?

As of right now it's either AMD FX8320 or AMD FX6330

would you still say the fx6330?

Yeah i saw the E and the one without and had no idea. Anyway assuming money is not an issue between the two cpu's, would the higher performance be displayed on the 8320E over the 6330?

Understandable. Although taking that into account - I currently have an amd fx 4300 which is 4ghz and obviously less cores. Would this mean the base clock speed would be higher on the 4300 rather than the 6330?

I don't know. Single threaded performance could be lower. You get more cores but a lot of software doesn't use more than 4 cores.

You probably need to save your money and see what the Ryzen CPUs are like and what, if anything they do to Intel pricing. A new motherboard, RAM and CPU are probably the best way to improve your performance.

If i were to go with the whole new MB+CPU id be looking at being able to get an Intel Asus H110M-K + Intel i5 6400.

I know the price is a lot higher but do you think that motherboard and processor is a better option instead of a 6300? i understand its not black and white answers but it seems as if going with another amd processor is a waste and i may as well go for a new MB and intel CPU
