Hey everyone. I recently build a new computer, but due to a tight budget, I didn't buy an optical drive. Today I dismantled my old laptop and took its optical drive. When I attempted to plug it into my computer, I found I didn't have a power cable for it. I had a spare SATA power cable and a spare SATA data cable, like the ones used on hard drives, but the optical drive had a strange connector. Take a look: http://imgur.com/qbY7kV1

The one on the right is a normal SATA data connector, but i have no idea what the one on the left is. It looks like some sort of mini-SATA power cable. Is this because it's from a laptop and the manufacturers don't want it being reused, or is it just a strange connector? Any help appreciated, thanks!
