I own an 'Asrock b150 gaming k4 /hyper' & things aren't the way it should be.
So whenever i check the fan speed that are connected to mobo which are 3 pin fans; i get around 9800 and 57000 rpm readings! I can clearly see it shows 999 &1200 in miliseconds but most of time it shows like that insane speeds.(( Bios is latest stable 1.30,tried to update to beta 1.60 still nothing.))

So
Q.1 - Should I be worried or not? Is it gonna damage the mobo?
Q.2 - Why this happens?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok...so I found a temproary solution.Actually it was 2 of my fans which were acting dramatically .they had 3 pin & molex connectors in it.But then I replaced with 3 pin only fan & now all is working fine.So I assume that's fan's problem.
BTW I earlier tried all your suggestion & even updated to latest beta bios but still was the same. Then I came to this solution.
