My pc freezes randomly and audio starts glitching.

PC specs:
Motherboard: msi z87 g45
CPU: i5 4670k turbo boost on 3.8ghz
GPU: ASUS GTX 660 2gb GDDR5 stock
SSD: Samsung 750 evo 250gb
RAM: Kingston HyperX savage 2x4gb 1866mhz
PSU: 600W LC Power LC600H-12 V2.31

I ran memtest and it passed with 0 erros. I really dont know what is going on with my psu need help. Im thinking it might be psu.

It happened while playing arma 3 and few times while browsing internet.
 
try uninstalling them in safe mode with DDU

then reinstall them. Since the 660 is no longer "supported" by nvidia, you might need to go back to some older drivers to find some that don't freeze up. Maybe all the way back to the WHQL 310.70, or so.

The problem you have is there are a number of things which can cause your problem, but the most likely cause might just be your gpu drivers.

Weird thing it is not happening alot but its really anoying to have unstable pc i was thinking of overclocking. But with this problem im not gonna try. Btw is this last driver for gtx 660 - 327.23 WHQL ??

Hey i just used psu calculator and it said that i need around 26.7A on 12v rail on my psu, but on a box of my psu it says it is 20A on 12v rail. Could that cause instability. Btw i had alot of problems overclocking cpu...

I oredered Corsair RM550x power supply i will message when it gets delivered and when i test it. I hope it helps me get stable overclocks and no more random freezes.
