Dual monitor color calibration resets after changing project settings

I'm using 2 monitors, one has a yellow tint while the other has a green tint. Through the windows 10 color calibration tool, I was able to make them look uniform.

This works well for me, but I don't always need both displays to be on. When I'm watching a video or playing a game, I really only need my primary monitor.

I changed the "project" settings to "PC only", so that I can save some energy and also processing power. When I changed the settings back to "extend", the two monitors' color calibration settings would reset.

Is there any way I could do this without the color calibrations resetting?

About my system:
All my display drivers are updated.
Graphics card: RX 480 Reference
Samsung 2333 HD primary monitor
LG Flatron W2243T secondary monitor

I have 4 monitors hooked up to my tower. I too normally only use one. Just hit the power button and leave them off. Your GPU might use a few extra watts depending on which you have, but it shouldn't be much.

I wonder why you lose the settings. Did you change the color settings in windows or the monitors? I calibrated mine through the monitor so if you did yours through windows try it my way.

For some reason, my primary monitor does not allow color adjustments for digital displays. My motherboard seems to allow both the integrated and dedicated graphics cards to be used at the same time, so I've moved the secondary display other to the integrated graphics card. Do you think that'll help save more electricity and processing power?
