Hey guys i have just recently bought a msi GTX 970 graphics card and this may be a stupid question but, after i removed my old amd radeon graphics card and put the 970 in i plugged my hdmi into the graphics card and to my monitor, no display. tried the same with my vga, no display.. I have looked through every thread i have been able to find and have tried many solutions such as uninstalling old drivers, turning off onboard graphics and nothing worked so i resorted to looking through the manual and realized that in the manual it says you need to have a 500w power supply and i have a 430w. is this why my system will not recognize the graphics card in the device manager? also ps i dont know if this matters or not but the fans on my gpu do not spin but on the gpu the msi symbol lights up. Do i need a new power supply or did i recieve a broken gpu? please help and thank you!

Solution
you need to FULLY uninstall your amd drivers before installing the NVidia card and drivers, of you will get conflicts. Including using something like CC Cleaner to clean out the registry,
