pop3 is a standard email protocol, dating from the days when storage was expensive: by default it copies all mail from the server to your PC, then erases it off the server, Largely replaced by IMAP style now, which reads mail directly on the server without copying the entire mailbox to your PC.

You'll need to ask your provider for the SMTP and POP3 server addresses. They most likely have a web page with setup instructions for the most common email clients and all the required addresses.
