Hi everyone,
Apologies if this has been asked before but I'm having trouble finding an answer via Google...
I recently installed a GTX1070 GPU and afterwards I decided to upgrade my CPU to an i7-4790K. It's my first time installing any hardware by myself.
After some initial hiccups seating the CPU fan and dangerous temperature readings, everything seems to be working very well.
However, I noticed that in the "Powers" column I'm having some interesting readings. Under CPU package power, it says I've hit a max of 1276.4 W. That seemed like a really high number and although I feel like I have a good grasp on temperature parameters I don't really understand anything about power. Is that possible? Could it be a bug? Should I be concerned?
For what it's worth, I'm running the Witcher 3 right now w/ a CPU load total of 16.7 and a CPU package power of 19.1...why the high value?
