Ram not Working

The cpu led on my motherboard is red and my pc only works with 1 ram stick not with 2 this happened after i upgraded from a i5 6400 to a i7 6700k

Try both the RAM sticks on the slot in which your single stick works. Also check all the slots one-by-one with the RAM stick that your PC successfully boots with.

Those two steps with either point out a faulty RAM or a dead RAM slot.

Also clean off the dust from the RAM slot once. That might also cause some issues.
