Hi All,
I have this system config:
1).Zotac Nvidia 1060 Mini GTX 3gb GPU
2). H170M-D3H DDR4 Motherboard.
3). i5 6402p CPU
4). 8 Gb Ram Kingston crossfire.
5). 500W PSU
This configuration is freezing up literally any game i play. After the game starts the whole screen freezes at any point in the game. Sometimes 5 mins or sometimes even 2 mins into the game.
The screen just stays frozen and I have no option but to do a hard reboot every time.
I have tried the following:
1). Do a clean install of the Nvidia Graphic drivers after the cleanup with DDU.
2). Current driver version is 376.33 for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 64-Bit.
3). TRried different OS..Windows 7, 8.1, 10 64-bit versions.
4). Tried last 4 previous versions of the drivers to check if they are stable.
5). I checked to see if the Overheating was an issue but its not. The Fans don't stop and I have three big ones in the cabinet. All placed diagonally so no heating issues there.
6). I have tried adding the "TdrDelay" and "tdrLevel" keys in the Registry for Graphic drivers with values as "2/8/10" and "0" respectively.
7). Have also Overclocked my CPU from Bios to a 3.4 instead of the original 2.8 Ghz.
8). Also have made changes to the Power options by making the changes as "maximum performance" in the Graphic card and "Sleep Never" in the hard disk power management.
I have tried almost every possible thing in the forums and m just lost now...And this was supposed to be my decent gaming PC. I feel like throwing this out now. Please someone help and advice..
Games I have tried : CS Go, NFS Rivals, CS Source in the settings as low as 1024x768. All graphic visuals set to "Low" or "Disabled"
PS: i have 4 processors running in the chipset.
