This will be my first gaming PC! The games I play: Guild Wars 2, Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Smite are my main ones. I'm looking for a build geared towards playing current and future games as best as possible within a 1300 budget.

This build has a 1080p 144hz monitor with free sync, XFX Radeon R9 Fury X 4GB Video Card.

This build has a 1080p 60hz monitor, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC Video Card.

Which one do you guys think is best?

If you don't overpay for RAM and get a motherboard with wireless, it saves you more than half the money to do both *and* get a power supply quality that's appropriate for this quality of components.

The problem with the choices you present is that the 1070 is about 25% faster, which you really max the benefit of paying for a 144hz monitor. And the 1070 is overkill on a 60hz monitor. If the extra $30 to squeeze in both and a quality power supply is too much, then I'd dial *both* the monitor and GPU back.

this is what I ould go with, the 1070, wi-fi built into a small itx board (which will fit in your case) and a 1ms response time 1440p monitor

A mini-itx option, if you are willing to use a different case.
