I recently purchased a gtx 970 and i noticed that when i game it gets very hot, Even with fans maxed out. i noticed this when playing GTA V, BF1 and The Witcher 3.
With Fans maxed out I get about 72 degree celsius, I live in Ireland where the temperature rarely goes over 20 degree so i don't believe its ambient.
I also have a small form case which is a Fujitsu desktop case, which would be a similar size to a Micro ATX case. So im wondering is circulation a issue. I've been keeping the side off my case aswell but its still hot
